This is your hole in the wall Chinese place that will leave you coming back for more. Forget your typical panda express. Its tucked in by the alley next to burrito beach on the small "street." They offer different combinations. Definitely recommend their spicy chicken. All of their food has a good ratio of meat to veggies. What I like about this place is they also have enough sauce on the food of choice instead of drenching it like other places do. Their crab rangoon is nice and creamy. Their egg rolls are nice and crispy. They have to update their pricing online but it is not a crazy increase.

Spicy chicken was great. Egg roll was ok. Restaurant very clean inside. Lots of places to sit. Staff was friendly. Restaurant is in alley way and was hard to find.

The food was really delicious and filling. They had enough space for us to sit down and relax without having to wait for a table. It was popular enough to where we thought we’d give it a try, and we’re glad we did. The order was a bit confusing as they don’t give you an order number, so it seemed like as long as you had the food they called out you could claim it, even if it was for someone before you. But all in all it was a great meal.

Spicy spicy spicy! You go to Silk Road for spicy chicken and no other reason. Spicy is their signature dish and I have yet to experience anything like it anywhere else. I get cravings for Spicy every month or two. I have been partaking in the Spicy since around yr 2000. There used to be 3-4 locations but LaSalle is the only one I know of these days. I dread the day I can no longer get Spicy and the possibility the magic that is Spicy Chicken could disappear forever.

Used to come here in early 90's - over 25+ years ago and loved loved the spicy chicken. I live in San Francisco now and I still crave this chicken but have not been able to find anything like it anywhere.
